Janina Ewert is a sociologist and philosopher and graduated in “Kultur und Gesellschaft“ at the University of Paderborn. While showing great interest in ethical implications of the “Pflegenotstand”, Janina Ewert also worked for several years in the geriatric care. In the field of sociology, she implemented new approaches to qualitative online research and conducted self-designed synchronous online group discussions concerning sustainable consumption.

Janina Ewert hat ihren Masterabschluss an der Universität Paderborn „Kultur und Gesellschaft“ mit den Fächern Soziologie und Philosophie gemacht. Während sie sich auf der theoretischen Ebene mit den ethischen Implikationen des Pflegenotstandes beschäftigt hat, hat sie außerdem nebenbei mehrere Jahre als Altenpflegehelferin gearbeitet. Im Bereich der Soziologie hat sie einen neuen Ansatz der synchronen Online-Gruppendiskussion konzipiert und umgesetzt. Während dieser Gruppendiskussionen stand das Thema „nachhaltiger Konsum“ im Fokus.
